All Facility Service and smith chemical & wax
Tim Smith after selling The Armadillo Group and riding out his non-compete has gotten back into the facility maintenance game. He’s called the service company All Facility Service.
Here’s the initial logo (via Fiverr):
Business cards (via Moo):
And version 1.0 of the website (via Weebly):

For his service business, we revived the Smith Chemical & Wax brand (again via Fiverr):
And a simple website via Weebly:
The Beautiful House
My mother, Cindy Smith, has been doing interior design for the better part of three decades. When I was younger, she would take on grand, all-consuming projects. The design of whole home interiors, for instance. We kids (my two sisters and I) played sidekicks, frequenting blinds, cabinet, carpet, lighting and many other stores proffering home goods.
In the past ten years, she formed Feather Your Nest, an “interior redesign business.” Redesign was more about simple reorganization (think feng shui) and light interior design. You could tackle your house “room by room”. Iterative development on a smaller scale. But over the last year, she’s been getting into real estate staging: redesigning homes for prospective buyers rather than homeowners.
The Beautiful House is a new company that will seek to combine real estate staging and home sales into one integrated offering.
We worked through Susan Sadek of Sumo Sweet for the logo (I had worked with her extensively when at Armadillo; she’s excellent):
And again, a simple website via Weebly:
And set up nascent Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts.
All the rest
Project Monty: Rebuilding Inovo’s Innovation Management Portal (IMP)
The team from University of Michigan – Dearborn completed most of the redesign in the spring of this year in C#/ASP.net. 3.7 Designs wrote the front-end. We’re now in the process of transitioning to a dev house that will integrate the two, do testing and position ourselves for a beta launch.
Business Consultants for Nonprofits (BCNP)
I help CEO Linda Braun with IT issues now and again. And in return she spares me board meetings.
These days it’s mostly been support via t-shirt wearing for Let Us Compost and Sister Pie:
